On January 29, 2009, on behalf of all Publicans, Senator (r) Javed Jabbar, Class of 1961 who proposed the creation of the Trust, filed the document which is called the Declaration and which is the founding document of the Publican Alumni Turst in the office of the Registrator, Board of Revenue, karachi.
Publican Advocate Chaudary Arshad Iqbal, Class of 1966,prepared the final version of the document and completed all the required formalities. He was assisted by two of his associates, We owe many thanks to the founding Chairman, to Zafar Ahmed Khan who drafted the subsequent Rules, to Khawaja Fariduddin (both Publicans) and to Chaudary Arshad Iqbal for their valuable efforts during the crucial preparatory phase as also all other Founding Members. Onward of January 29, 2009 the Publican Alumni Trust began to function as a legal entity.
