Left Cantt Public School after Class 7 to Join a Cadet College (MCJ). Commissioned in the Army in 1971 in the Armoured (Tank) Corps. Served all over the country in various capacities. Had the honour to be assigned as the Chief United Nations Military Observer in Sarajevo during the War in Bosnia. Served as Pakistan’s Defence Attache in Bangladesh and Myanmar (Burma) for four years. Retired from the army in 2004. Served as the HOME SECRETARY to the Government of Sindh for three years on contract till January 2008. Presently working as a Security and Government Relations Consultant.
