Teacher

Summary Profile

Subject taught include English and Mathematics.

Misc. Information

Mrs. Zarina Jarrar’s son, Abdullah Jarrar has written the following about his mother.

My mother tenure to the school was 1969-2002. She used to teach English and mathematics to the primary section.

My mother loved to teach , it was her passion rather than just a profession for earning money and prestige. Addition to her good knowledge of the subject and confidence she has the wonderful skills and abilities to grab students attention , bridging the gap between herself and the students , developing understanding for each student and their aspirations. Using positive tactics to bring discipline in her students life and giving them the vision to set their direction.

Even during summer vacations she used to teach in refresher courses for teachers, arranged by the school. She used to look for improving her teaching skills and passed her B.Ed exam while she was teaching.

All of her five children including me got the secondary education from the same school. Apart from her profession she is the best mother in the world. We attribute our success in life to her.

Misc. Information

Her son, Shahood Alam (class of 1986) says this about her “I feel proud to state that she is my mother. Our father was living abroad then and she managed to teach at the school and single-handedly brought-up 4 kids (all very naughty), I being the eldest. We all got excellent results in Matriculation and three got admitted to DJ Science College and one in Govt. Commerce College. Two are now Computer Systems Engineers, one Aero Space Engineer and one Chartered Accountant (Masha Allah). We all owe our careers and our lives to our mother. She passed her B.Ed. exam within her teaching span in first attempt after around 14 years break in her education. I do remember how she prepares Origami stuff and other Educational Charts for decorating her class that always stand out during school inspections. Like her sons, I am sure her students must have reached great heights.”
